PALFEST/WEST BANK

 

Invited to be a participant of the Palestine Festival of Literature (PalFest), this work was made while touring the West Bank in 2010. Palfest was established in 2008 to support and showcase cultural life in Palestine, strengthening cultural links between Palestine and the rest of the world.  "We work to reaffirm, in the words of Edward Said, ‘the power of culture over the culture of power.’" The group travelled to Jerusalem, Nablus, Jenin, Bethlehem, Hebron and Ramallah.
